This paper focuses on the online comic "No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!", analyzing the mind and behavior of the heroine Tomoko Kuroki, a high-school girl, especially in Book 8-9, "School Excursion" part, in which she could form friendship with others. The discussion develops to the realization of Hiruko(Leech-child)'s return, the largest issue of Japanese mythodology argued by Hayao Kawai as his lifework, and tries to make an exciting or even a little bit strange hypothesis.

Das Ziel dieser Abhandlung ist es, der Forschungsgeschichte über die politische Gewalt in Großstädten wie Berlin in den Phasen der relativen Stabilisierung und der Auflösung der Weimarer Republik (1924-1933) zu folgen, die Diskussionspunkte in der Forschung aufzuklären und auf die darausfolgenden Aufgaben hinzuweisen. Das Thema wurde zuerst in den 1960er Jahren haupusächlich durch Organisationsanalysen der politischen Parteien und Kampfbünden gemacht. Diese spielten in den Straßenkämpfen die Rolle als Subjekte der Gewalt. In den1980er Jahren hatten die Historiker/-in im angloamerikanischen Raum ,,die Sozialgeschichte der politischen Gewalt" eingeleitet und dabei insbesondere die Situation in Berlin als Gegenstand der Forschung entdeckt. Erst seit den 1990er Jahren sind ähnliche wichtige Monografien auch im deutschsprachigen Raum veröffentlicht worden. Die Sozialgeschichte der politischen Gewalt hat das Augenmerk auf die ,,Orten der Gewalt" wie Nachbarschaft, Straßen und Plätze, oder Kneipen und Lokalen im Arbeiterviertel gelegt und versucht, die wirklichen Sachlagen der politischen Gewalt im Alltag zu erfassen. Von nun an muss man sie vor allem unter den Gesichtspunkten wie ,,Paramilitarismus", ,,politische Kultur" oder ,,Propaganda" weiter analysieren, indem man mehrere historische Quellen wie z.B. Polizeiakten oder Gerichtsakten analysiert. Die Vertiefung dieser Forschung kann nicht nur zu einem Erklärungsfaktor, mit dem man den Übergang von der Weimarer Republik zur nationalsozialistischen Herrschaft auslegen kann, führen. Darüber hinaus sollte auch Material, aus dem man an ,,Gewalt in der Bürgergesellschaft" denken kann, untersucht werden.

In this paper, we will examine how the succession of Anjoji-ryu priests is administered. Anjoji-ryu is part of the Shingon sect of Buddhism. To examine the succession mentioned above, we will research the initiation records: records of the education conducted by successive priests in Shokoan Temple, as well as biographies of priests. In addition, we will compare the current line of succession of Anjoji-ryu and the following two documents owned by the Kokudennzan Jizoji Temple: "Anryu-shoto-kechimyaku(安流正統血脉)", and "Shokoan-kechimyaku (正興庵血脉)", which both record the succession of Anjoji-ryu priests at Shokoan Temple.

The purpose of this study is to identify the multiplier effect in elementary school students from 4th to 6th grades who had already learned multiplication, and to investigate how to overcome it. For this purpose, we set the two viewpoints of i) the consciousness about the size relation of multiplier, multiplier, and product, and ii) the relation with results of ×0 and ×1, and a questionnaire investigation for students is carried out in order to inquire the feature and tendency of their understanding. According to the questionnaire for 638 students in four elementary schools, it checked that multiplier effect was especially seen in the 4th and 5th grade students. Moreover, in order to explore the cause, the consciousness of students who show the multiplier effect was followed up by using the selection problem and case method. These results showed that (1) the students who show multiplier effect especially tends to take notice of the size relation between multiplier and multiplier. (2) leanings of ×0 and ×1 could not prevent the belief "becoming large whenever it multiply", and these suggested that the consistent consideration of supports in teaching of integer, rational numbers, proportion and ratio was required.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) have been educational topics for more than ten years or so, but the contents, the definition and integrated styles of them are still controversial. This paper summarizes the past researches about the definition and history of STEM and STEAM as well as the integration of disciplines. Important three integration categories : context integration, content integration, integration level are extracted from the past researches. These three categories are supposed to be useful to analyze the quality and quantity of the integration of all disciplines. The difference between the terms: disciplinary, multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary became clearer. The role of arts in the integration of disciplines must be clearer in the future.

The present situation about sexual bullying in junior and high schools is unknown and there have not been many researches on this topic. Severe incidents including suicide and rape caused by sexual bullying, however, have been reported in the news. In this study, junior and high school teachers and university students were interviewed in order to categorize patterns of sexual bullying taking place in schools. Data from 13 teachers and 17 students showed that 1) teachers recognized physical and verbal bullying more than students, 2) students recognized more sexual bullying than teachers, and 3) lifting skirts, pulling down pants, and hearing dirty jokes were the top 3 examples of sexual bullying reported by both teachers and students. These examples were considered to be less severe and both bullies and bullied engaged in these types bullying as a form of communication. However, these could lead to more severe types of bullying, such as rape. Students also mentioned difficulties in reporting these incidents, while teachers faced challenges in the identification and intervention of such cases. Therefore, schools need to define sexual bullying and their countermeasures.

The purpose of this study is to clarify how childcare teachers and students at teacher education universities evaluate the “Ideal Image by the End of Childhood,” “qualities and abilities,” “proactive and dialogic deep learning,” and the “five areas” in the National Curriculum Standard for Kindergartens after watching videos of kindergarten children. The study showed a significant difference in the evaluations by teachers and students, but no significant difference in evaluations by teachers at kindergartens, nursery schools, and centers for early childhood education and care. However, there was a difference based on their years of experience. The “Ideal Image by the End of Childhood” was classified into “items that are easy to observe” and “items that are not easy to observe”. Due to multiple regression analysis, the path coefficients of “qualities and abilities”, “proactive and dialogic deep learning”, and “five areas” were significant. The results suggest that it may be effective for students to practice comprehensive and related evaluation of children, such as by watching videos of children in kindergarten.

This study was conducted to examine instances of conformity behavior, anxiety, public self?consciousness, and approval motivation in adolescent friendships. First, a conformity behavior scale was constructed based on 6 ifferent scales that measure conformity motivation, conformity tendency, conformity orientation and conformity behavior. The subjects comprised 83 male and 72 female university students. They were exposed to item analysis and factor analysis exercises, and a twenty?four?items conformity behavior scale was developed. Second, the hypothesis that adolescents with high anxiety, high public consciousness and high approval motivation have a tendency to conform to others was tested. A total of 57 items were tested on 123 male and 171 female high school students. The results showed that both the internal conformity factor and the external conformity factor are related to anxiety and approval motivation. Therefore, a part of the hypothesis that says that high school students tend to conform to others because of their anxiety and motivation to secure the approval of others was verified in this study. Some studies, however, showed that conforming behavior causes stress in adolescents. In our conclusion, with the view to releasing adolescents from such stress, we suggested that they practice self?assertive behavior.

The main subject of this article is to consider about the vocational qualification in field of sociology. There were fewer analyses about the vocational qualification than an educational qualification until now. The vocational qualification is not only related to the personal social status formation but affecting the industrial structure itself. In reference to precedent studies, for instance R.Collins and P.Bourdieu, I considered vocational qualification by using data and theory, from new two viewpoints. Two viewpoints are "vocational qualification for occupational cohort" and "vocational qualification for nation". As a result, the occupational cohort fights for acquisition of own occupational prestige in society, and because the nation gives national qualifications to workers, it promotes stability of the industrial structure. At the same time, there is the vocational qualification system in the possibility to contribute to immobilization and reproduction of the hierarchy. In late years, by a change of the labor circumstances, the meaning of the vocational qualification is changing, too. The vocational qualification raises one's social status by getting it. But, it is changing into a thing acquiring it as skill proof for continuing with one's work.

This paper firstly reviews Japanese language reference books published in recent years from the perspective of whether they are sufficient for learners to use Japanese verbs effectively. In Japanese a verb changes its meaning depending on what types of nouns serve as its arguments and what particle those arguments take. It thus follows that a viable reference book must introduce each meaning associated with a given verb together with the information of the types of arguments it takes and the particles accompanying those arguments. The example sentences for a given verb having a given meaning must also illustrate its arguments and their accompanying particles clearly. We demonstrate that while recent Japanese language reference books are useful in a number of ways, none of them meet these criteria sufficiently ; hence, we still await a reference book that enable learners to use Japanese verbs effectively. The second part of the paper introduces our ongoing project, which aims to produce a Japanese verbs reference book meeting these criteria. Our proposed reference book targets Japanese language learners who understand English, and incorporate English explanations creatively to achieve the goal.

This study attempted to consider the ideal form of social care which respects the best interests of children, by utilizing an interview survey to examine the elements required to raise the children involved in social care from the viewpoint of those involved. It was found that children who have been subject to social care programs require the preparation and perpetual guarantee of a family-like environment to replace the family lifeand relationships which were lost. When we considered what the best interests were of children involved in this social care, we were confronted with the fact that no overall correct answer existed. This was because the circumstances and problems were different for each individual child, and could only be resolved by individual fine-tuned handling. Because of this, the true best interests of the children will never be identified unless the adults pay greater attention to the children involved, listen seriously to each individual, and hold the children in true respect.

In this study, we developed a gender dysphoria scale based on the diagnostic criteria of DSM-5 and examined the relationship between childhood gender dysphoria and family influence. Furthermore, Harima (2014) examined the relationship between gender dysphoria and autism spectrum traits, as some individuals with pervasive developmental disorder have confused gender identities and show gender dysphoria. The survey was conducted to 219 subjects, and the questionnaire consisted of (1) gender, (2) age, (3) gender dysphoria scale (as a child and now), (4) family influence scale, and (5) autistic spectrum index test. The subjects were divided into four groups based on their gender dysphoria as children and their current level of gender dysphoria (LL, LH. HL, HH). In four groups, we analyzed the relationships with gender dysphoria and family influence and gender dysphoria and Autism spectrum tendencies. The results showed that 1) perceptions of gender dysphoria in childhood were related to family influences, and 2) there was some relationship between gender dysphoria and autism spectrum tendencies. Regarding the influence of family members, we were only able to identify an overall trend. In the future, we felt the need to use a questionnaire that asks about the relationship with specific family members.

School refusal (non-attendance at school) has recently been prevalent in Japan. The number of children refusing to go to school decreased until the mid 1970 s, but has been reversely increasing from then to the present. Regarding school refusal, various causes are indicated, among which changes in the industrial structure and rising education continuance rates to senior high schools are underscored. Thereby, schools are getting less fascinating to children. Although the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has attempted to deal with this problem, it has resulted in failure. So, the MEXT has come to regard school refusal as a common phenomenon ordinary children often show, and admitted various types of unofficial private schools receiving children with school refusal. Additionally, the MEXT started the examination of the certificate for students achieving the proficiency level of upper secondary school graduates by which children can select various future routes including to enter universities without going to senior high schools. From various causes leading to school refusal, the current paper mainly picked up the causes of children's psychological characteristics leading to school refusal. Then, first, it was depicted how such characteristics develop and result in school refusal. Thereafter, based on the development, various solutions for school refusal were suggested for surrounding people such as parents and teachers. Second, the concrete solutions were explained depending on the stages of school refusal. Finally, as one of the fundamental solutions, the possibilities of prevention education at school were introduced, along with the current world trend of this problem.

This paper examines the resilience understanding by biological, psychological and social models and the application to school education. We examined resilience, with particular emphasis on biological models. The interaction between the gene and the environment, the biological response of stress, the relation with specific brain organs, etc. were reported. As a result, we presented a development model of resilience based on biological, psychological and social models.

Young people nowadays often feel anxious as they cannot ensure the basis of their existence. Thinking of the reasons, it is necessary to focus on qualitative changes in family, community, and personal relationship of Japanese society. The author analyzed the issue through the movie My Neighbor Totoro directed by Hayao Miyazaki, which portrays what life was like in the past. The movie has a detailed description of the interaction with nature and supernatural force, which was characteristic in traditional Japanese society, and the various protective power for children to underpin human existence. However, its theme is not just for tired people to feel comfort. After we confirm the basis of our existence through this movie, we ourselves need to make every effort for mutual commitment in real−world society and relationship, going beyond the fantasy.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the current status of learning support as a measure to prevent children's poverty in A prefecture in Chugoku and Shikoku region, and to consider the tasks. In this study, interviews and observations were conducted. As a result, the following four points were raised regarding the tasks of learning support as measures for poverty of children in A prefecture. The first task is that the A Prefecture Board of Education works together with the welfare department to think the community future cram school and "children's learning support project" as a child poverty countermeasure. The second task is to establish a universal system in mountainous areas, and a selective system based on academic ability in plain and urban areas. The third task is to clarify the division of roles to make the cooperation of actions related to learning support as a countermeasure for children's poverty work. The fourth issue is to reexamine the purpose of "Children's Learning Support Project" and "Regional Future School".

Das Ziel dieser Abhandlung ist es, die Sachlage der politischen Kneipen in Berlin am Anfang der 1930er Jahren aufzuklären, die als der Ausgangspunkt der politischen Gewalt funktionierten. Dabei lege ich den Schwerpunkt besonders auf den inneren Zustand und die verschiedenen Funktionen der politischen Kneipen, das Verhalten ihrer Schankwirte, die Beziehungen zwischen den politischen Kneipen und ihren Umgebungen und das polizeiliche Vorgehen. Die politischen Kneipen in der Weimarer Republik übernahmen die Tradition der Kneipenkultur der sozialdemokratischen Arbeiterbewegung, die in der letzten Hälfte des Deutschen Reiches entstand. Deshalb kann man unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Verbindung der Kneipen mit Politik auf eine Kontinuität von dem Kaiserreich zu der Weimarer Republik hinweisen. In der Weimarer Zeit hatte allerdings nicht nur die SPD, sondern auch die KPD und die NSDAP, also die nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg gegründeten Massenparteien, eigene Kneipen/Lokale errichtet, sodass sich die Kneipenkultur politisch polarisierten und diese Tendenz am Ende der Weimarer Republik viel größer wurde. Auf der anderen Seite hatten die politischen Kneipen im Kaiserreich als „Versteck“ funktioniert, damit man der Beaufsichtigung und der Unterdrückung der Obrigkeiten entkommen konnte, während in der Weimarer Zeit sie zum „Gefechtsstand“ im Arbeiterviertel für Überfälle auf den Gegner oder die Propaganda auf den Straßen geworden waren. Die politischen Kneipen, die öfter in der Umgebung aneinander anstoßen, waren zweifellos ein symbolisches Dasein für den politischen Alltag in der Endphase der Weimarer Republik, der durch die politische Gewalt wie Zusammenstöße und Überfälle auf der Straße charakterisiert war. Alles in allem war in der Weimarer Zeit die Beziehung der Kneipen mit der Politik sehr kompliziert geworden, da zusätzlich zum „vertikalen“ Gegensatz im Kaiserreich zwischen den Obrigkeiten und den Arbeiter der „horizontale“ Gegensatz zwischen den politischen Parteien hinzukam.

This paper discusses interviewing skills, which is the most basic for psychological support practitioners, focusing the improvement method during the graduate course and the mind frame before studying theories, explaining as simply as possible. Until the first case interview, the graduate students are expected to stepwisely achieve the following three issues: (1) to turn the main concern from "their own mind" to "the mind of the others", (2) have enough practice of thinking "the mind of the others" in the other person's position, (3) to change the evasive attitude towards psychological communication with others and to think the communication itself as comfortable. Additionally, what is important for the desirable interviews is not to immediately achieve perfection in improving skills, but to keep resilience in recognizing, resolving the problems in a straightforward way.
