The purpose of our study is to make clear the significance of a boyfriend or girlfriend for junior high school students. For this purpose, we firstly investigated the determining factors of having a boyfriend/girlfriend, and then clarified the effects of the fact that one has a boyfriend/girlfriend on their self-consciousness. As a result of our analyses, we got following two findings. First, there are various factors which determine whether junior high school students have a boyfriend/girlfriend or not, and the factors differ according to each student's gender. Furthermore, the levels of academic accomplishment of the school also make a difference. Second, when we analyze the effects of that fact on their self-consciousness, it is necessary to consider not only the very thing that one has a boyfriend/girlfriend or not, but also if she or he is likely to have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Our analysis suggests that a success in love for girls in junior high has a more complex meaning compared with that for boys.

近年,学術研究団体(学会)における会員数の減少が懸念されている.本稿では,日本学術会議が指定する協力学術研究団体を対象として,日本の学会組織の現状および変化を定量的に俯瞰することを試みた.集計の結果,学会のおよそ3分の2は会員数1,000人未満であり,人文社会系を中心に小規模な学会が多数を占める現状が示された.過去10年余りの間に個人会員数が減少した学会は3分の2にのぼるものの,それは理工系,中小規模,歴史の長い学会で顕著であり,医学系や大規模学会ではむしろ会員数を増加させていた.また,学会の新設に対して,解散は少数にとどまっていた.結果として,既存学会の維持および会員数の選択的な増減,そして新設学会の増加が交錯している状況が示された.そして,地理学関連学会は学術界全体の平均以上に会員減少が進んでおり,連合体や地方学会を含めてそのあり方を検討する必要性が指摘された.

本研究では,国立大学の附属図書館が Twitter をどのように利用しているのか,簡単な実態調査を行い,大学図書館の PR ツールおよびサービスツールとしての Twitter の有効性について考察した.まず,全ての国立大学の附属図書館について,Twitter のアカウントを収集し,ツイートの発言者の属性をプロフィールや図書館の公式サイトを用いて公式アカウントを同定した.次に,TwitterAPI を用いて,各アカウントのユーザ情報およびツイート 100 件を抽出し,その内容をいくつかのカテゴリに分類した.結果として,大学図書館のツイートの内容は,従来の館報や掲示による広報の範囲内に収まっており,双方向的なやりとりやリツイートによる情報拡散などの Twitter の特性を十分活用しているものではなく,主に簡易的な広報ツールとして使用されていること,また,公式アカウントがフレンドとしてフォローしているユーザの 4 割はフォロワと重複しており,必ずしも,Twitter 上での有用な情報源をフレンドとして登録しているわけではないことなど,まだ,大学図書館の Twitter 利用には課題が多いことがわかった.

従来,著者推定研究は小説に対する著者推定を中心に研究が行われており,推定対象を限定した,少人数に対する著者候補者群が取り扱われてきた.これに対し,我々はマイクロブログを対象にした,不特定多数の候補者群に対する著者推定の提案を行った.その際,精度向上のためマイクロブログ特有の叫喚フレーズに対する正規化手法,および計算量削減のため推定に必要となるメッセージ数を削減する手法を提案してきた.本稿では,より多くのマイクロブログ利用者を対象にした著者推定を行う上での問題点,特に学習用データとテストデータの取得期間の差異が精度に与える影響について検証し,学習用データの取得期間が精度に与える影響を小さくする手法を提案する.実験では Twitter ユーザ 10,000 人に対して著者推定を行い,Precision@1 で 0.535,MRR で 0.602 を達成した.

To clarify the characteristics of breast vibration and brassiere dislocation during running, movements of five spots on the breast surface, that of the same five spots on transparent brassieres after removing brassiere caps to visualize the breast surface, and the clothing pressures of the corresponding five spots were simultaneously monitored using an image analyzing system. The subjects for our experiment were young women with had hemispheric breasts. Obtained data of those movements and pressure were analyzed using the discrete Fourier transform. The breasts in a brassiere were vibrated at the same frequency of running. The dislocation of the brassiere from the breast surface which was observed was associated with changes in the clothing pressure at the lower half of the brassiere. Vibration of the breasts of the subjects wearing spots brassieres was move obvious in the vertical direction, while vibration of the breasts of the breasts of the subjects wearing full-cup brassieres was more obvious in the horizontal direction.

Compared with dogs (Canis familiaris), the social cognitive abilities of cats (Felis catus) have not received much research attention, probably because cats are not considered to be as social as dogs. However, cats have in fact developed sociality in conspecifics and, needless to say, cat-human relationships after their domestication. This paper initially considers the reasons behind the underestimation of cats' social abilities, and then reviews social behavior among conspecifics and in the cat-human relationship. Several studies have provided evidence that cats possess social intelligence. Since their intelligence is considered to be expressed in different context from that of dogs, methods different from those used to study dogs are therefore needed for investigating their social abilities. Appropriate experiments or devices will undoubtedly unravel the high social intelligence of cats.

本研究はウェブサイトに訪問したユーザのソーシャルアカウントを特定するサイドチャネル攻撃を実証する.特定経路を構成するのは,様々なサービスに実装されているユーザブロック機能である.準備段階では,候補となるソーシャルアカウント群に対しブロックと非ブロックのマッピングを行う.実行段階では,訪問者にタイミング攻撃を仕掛けブロック状態を推定する.推定結果とマッピングを照合することで訪問者とアカウントを紐付けることができる.著名な16のサービスにおいて攻撃が成立することを検証し,100%近い精度で特定に成功した.本稿は,ウェブサービスのソーシャル性に起因する新たな問題を提起し,その原理と対策を論じる.

クイズ番組専用として, リモートセンシング等に使用されている画像処理装置を中心に, 各種の周辺装置と効果音発生用シンセサイザーを組合せ, 多彩な機能を盛り込んだ総合システムとしてまとめた.この結果, 操作性の単純化と共に, 多種多様な機能と相まって, 当番組の意図する番組作りに大きく寄与している.

Tetsuko Kuroyanagi has been a hostess of a TV talk show, Tetsuko's Room, for more than thirty years. In order to provide a demonstrative description of Tetsuko's skills as a talk show hostess, a comparison is made between this program and another one broadcast by NHK, Hello from Studio Park. Three shows from the two programs are compared, each pair of shows having the same guest. For each of the three paired shows, the portions dealing with the "same" topic are chosen and transcribed for analysis. When a singer and actor, Tetsuya Takeda, was a guest, he replayed interchanges which mark some moments of his career as an entertainer. While at Hello, Tetsuya replayed these interchanges without prompting from the hosts, however, at Room, Tetsuko made focused attempts to solicit a specific exchange that included the words of encouragement of Tetsuya's wife who worked to keep their spirits high while they were struggling economically. Tetsuko's personal knowledge and memory about the guest seem critical to eliciting this exchange. When a speed skater and Olympic bronze medalist, Tomomi Okazaki, was a guest, the size of her thighs was one of major topics. In both shows, the hostess touched her thigh. While the hostess of Hello just rubbed, Tetsuko slapped Okazaki's thigh twentyeight times. She made slapping sounds that could be heard by the audience so as to show how "good" Okazaki's muscles are. Tetsuko even slapped her own thighs to make a contrast. Although Tetsuko's superior skills usually work well and make the talk interesting and enjoyable, she remained silent while Mami Yamase changed styles of the clothes of her designing from skirts to pants. Pauses of few seconds long were heard while watching Yamase change styles. Because the audience was distracted during the time Yamase was changing styles, the length of the pauses was not as noticeable as it might have been otherwise. Still, the fact that Tetsuko did not talk for that long stood out. Comparisons of the same guests talking about the "same" topics have provided several important findings. First, Tetsuko Kuroyanagi has superior skills of eliciting interesting stories from her guests. Second, however, even Tetsuko is sometimes forced to remain silent while the talk show guest engages in preparatory activities. Third, therefore, "chattiness" should not be attributed to a person but should be considered an attribute of the situation.
