震災直後よりツイッターでトラウマケアの情報発信を行い,得られた反応を公式リツイート数を指標に分析し一般社会で、求められる情報のニーズ、把握を行った. 「急性期反応への寄添い」「サバイパーズギルト」「グリーフケア」「子ども・障がい者」ヘ高い関心が向けられたのに対し「アルコール」「性」「怒り」への関心は低下した. 「当事者・周囲への働きかけ」に対し「自分自身への対処法」の関心は低く,また,まとまった大量の情報を提示しても関心は示されないなど, リスクコミュニケーションへの留意点が浮かび上がった.さらに時期的には震災発生後第1~3週までは高い関心が持続したが第4週以降は関心が低下したことから,いかに早く発信態勢を立ち上げ,この期間内に知識を普及させるかが勝負になると思われた.

我々は2003年から阪神地域において,河川,水路等に現れる”赤水”の目視調査および水質調査を行っており,その分布の概要がわかってきたので報告する.”赤水”湧出の特徴として,比較的標高の高い六甲山麓部にも存在し,一部のものは石垣等から染み出している.これらは,ほぼすべて重炭酸型であり,pHが6-7の弱酸性のものが多くCO2が溶解していることを示唆する.”赤水”が赤褐色~オレンジ色を呈する理由は,湧き出し口でリモナイト(FeOOH)が沈殿することによる.この鉄は,地下水中にCO2があった場合に,岩石・鉱物が風化することにより地下水に溶解する.そして,浅所で酸化することにより赤褐色からオレンジ色を生じる.阪神地域では,地下から断層を通じて上昇する有馬型熱水が浅所でCO2を遊離し,気泡となったCO2が上昇し,浅層地下水を炭酸化すると考えられている.したがって,”赤水”の分布域は,有馬型熱水の上昇域に関連していると考えられる.”赤水”の分布が地下に伏在する断層と関連があるかどうか検討をおこなった.その結果,六甲,宝塚,須磨,仮屋沖(延長),芦屋,甲陽,西宮,伊丹の各断層と昆陽池陥没帯に関連づけられる”赤水”が存在していることがわかった.また,断層が存在していても赤水がほぼ見られない地域もあった.講演では,”赤水”調査の概要,産状を紹介し,詳細な分布・特徴について議論したい.

日本の酒造りは中国大陸から伝来したとされている。両者とも, デンプンの糖化にカビを利用するという共通点はある。しかし, 日本では蒸した粒のままの米に黄麹菌を, 中国では生のままの粉にした麦にリゾープス菌を生やして麹を造るという点で大きき異なる。歴史的にみても, 古代日本で中国式麹が造られたという報告はないという。永年, 酒造りの研究に携わってこられた著者が,「生米麹と石臼」からこの謎がとけるのではないかと指摘されている。二千年のロマンに思いを寄せて-読されたい。

Because the staple food in Japan is rice, which absorbs cadmium (Cd) from the soil efficiently, rice is the main source of exposure to Cd in the Japanese population. In addition, there have been many Cd-contaminated farming areas in Japan. Therefore, a safety standard for the Cd concentration in rice was set as 0.4 ppm by the Japanese government. This safety standard has been followed for decades without any appropriate scientific or legal basis. However, recent epidemiological studies of female Japanese farmers exposed to Cd through self-grown rice, that is, a series of Japanese Multi-centered Environmental Toxicant Study (JMETS), showed evidence that the safety standard is appropriate. Therefore, general Japanese consumers are unlikely exposed to Cd excessively with the application of this safety standard, considering the trend of decreasing amount of rice consumed among the Japanese population. On the other hand, Japanese farmers were found to be at risk of Cd exposure through the consumption of self-grown rice with a high Cd concentration. Actually, the JMETS showed that female farmers at 70 years of age or older had a decreased proximal renal tubular function due to the high renal accumulation of Cd. On the basis of these findings, “medical examinations for Cd exposure” have recently been implemented for farmers residing in Cd-polluted areas in northern Japan. Because it has been estimated that such Cd-polluted areas are actually larger, it is necessary to implement medical examinations of more farmers there, particularly the elderly.

Paclitaxel (PTX) is an antitumor agent for the treatment of various human cancers. Cremophor EL and ethanol are used to formulate PTX in commercial injection solutions, because of its poor solubility in water. However, these agents cause severe allergic reaction upon intravenous administration. The aim of this study is to synthesize water-soluble macromolecular prodrugs of PTX for enhancing the therapeutic efficacy. Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA, 80 kDa), water-soluble synthetic polymer, was used as a drug carrier which is safe and stable in the body. The 2'-hydroxyl group of PTX was reacted with succinic anhydride and then carboxylic group of the succinyl spacer was coupled to PVA via ethylene diamine spacer, resulting the water-soluble prodrug of poly(vinyl alcohol)-paclitaxel conjugate (PVA-SPTX). The solubility of PTX was greatly enhanced by the conjugation to PVA. The release of PTX from the conjugate was accelerated at the neutral to basic conditions in in vitro release experiment. [125 I]-labeled PVA-SPTX was retained in the blood circulation for several days and was gradually distributed into the tumorous tissue after intravenous injection to the tumor-bearing mice. PVA-SPTX inhibited the growth of sarcoma 180 cells subcutaneously inoculated in mice. It was suggested that the water-solubility of PTX was markedly enhanced by the conjugation to PVA, and PVA-SPTX effectively delivered PTX to the tumorous tissue due to the enhanced permeability and retention (EPR) effect.Paclitaxel (PTX) is an antitumor agent for the treatment of various human cancers. 厚削り鰹節を用いて長時間(120分)加熱してとるそばつゆ用だし汁のエキス分, 総窒素量, アミノ態窒素量, 5'-IMP, 5'-AMP量, 酸度, 粘度を経時的に測定した。厚削り鰹節に含まれる水溶性成分はいずれも本条件下では60 〜90分でほぼ浸出を完了し, それ以降の加熱は成分浸出を目的とするのではなく, 徐々に煮つめていくことによりだし汁の濃度を高めるためになされると考えられた。

This article examines how to use three Haikus in "Gokumon-tou(Gokumon Island)", one of Yokomizo Seishi's mystery novels. In this mystery, a detective, Kindaichi Kosuke finds the truth of the serial murders. In those cases, each of the victims are compared to Haiku. For example, Yukie, she is the middle of three sisters, is compared to Basho's Haiku "Muzan yana Kabuto no Shita no Kirigirisu (How pitiful! Under a soldier's empty helmet, a cricket sings)". Specifically, Yukie is compared to an old cricket related to white color because Basho's cricket is compared to an old soldier. Then, a big temple bell is compared to a soldier's helmet. What is this criminal doing? The criminal rediscovers the beauty of Haiku. In other words, the criminal plays with Mitate. As I have explained, Mitate is a kind of comparison, and in this paper I solve three mysteries with Kindaichi, and clarify the motive for crime. As a whole, this thesis offers a close reading "Gokumon-tou" focusing on three Haikus and the role of characters. In addition, I show the position of "Gokomon-tou" in the Japanese mystery or Japanese modern literature containing Haiku. "Gokomon-tou" is groundbreaking in these special tricks using Haiku. After this novel we find a lot of mystery writers using Haiku. Especially, Matsumoto Seicho utilize Haiku as a trick or the key to solving the mystery. Seicho knows the characteristics of modern Haiku in comparison with Seishi. He use the characteristics, namely Shasei(sketching)theory, going to famous sightseeing spots, literary coterie magazines, Haiku gathering and so on, in his novels. Then, Yokomitsu Riichi who is a contemporary of Seishi connects Basho's Haiku and Japanese fate. In contract, Seishi's Basho is released from the oppression. Seishi makes free use of Basho's Haiku, and accordingly "Gokumon-tou" becomes a watershed of Basho's Haiku for use in novels.

Purpose: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) are representative disorders of dementia of the elderly and the neuroimaging has contributed to early diagnosis by estimation of alterations of brain volume, blood flow and metabolism. A brain network analysis by MR imaging (MR connectome) is a recently developed technique and can estimate the dysfunction of the brain network in AD and DLB. A graph theory which is a major technique of network analysis is useful for a group study to extract the feature of disorders, but is not necessarily suitable for the disorder differentiation at the individual level. In this investigation, we propose a deep learning technique as an alternative method of the graph analysis for recognition and classification of AD and DLB at the individual subject level.Materials and Methods: Forty-eight brain structural connectivity data of 18 AD, 8 DLB and 22 healthy controls were applied to the machine learning consisting of a six-layer convolution neural network (CNN) model. Estimation of the deep learning model to classify AD, DLB and non-AD/DLB was performed using the 4-fold cross-validation method.Results: The accuracy, average precision and recall of our CNN model were 0.73, 0.78 and 0.73, and the specificity precision and recall were 0.68 and 0.79 in AD, 0.94 and 0.65 in DLB and 0.73 and 0.75 in non-AD/DLB. The triangular probability map of the MR connectome revealed the probability of AD, DLB and non-AD/DLB in each subject.Conclusion: Our preliminary investigation revealed the adaptation of deep learning to the MR connectome and proposed its utility in the differentiation of dementia disorders at the individual subject level.

「ゲルマニウム半導体検出器等で使用されているスペクトル解析の現状をレビューし,問題点や改善するべき点を抽出するとともに,国内国外での新しい研究成果等をレビューする」ことを目的とする次世代スペクトル解析専門委員会での議論から,サム効果をどのように補正するか,ピーク探査のあるべき姿,測定スペクトルのみから放射能の絶対測定が可能になるかもしれない可能性についての実験と議論,参照スペクトルの活用等を紹介する。

最近,日本では高齢者の上部尿路結石症が問題となっている.高齢者では,女性患者,尿路感染の合併患者,心血管系および麻酔リスクの高い患者が増える.高齢者においても,ホルミウム・ヤグレーザーを用いた内視鏡的結石破砕術は有効かつ安全な治療である.また,寝たきり患者の多発性・感染性尿路結石に対しては,適切なドレナージで感染徴候を抑えたのち,内視鏡的結石破砕術を駆使して,「結石の完全除去complete stone free」をめざすべきである.
