Scopo di questo articolo e di tentare un' interpretazione dell' "ocru malu" (espressione sarda) in un' ottica antropologica. L'interpretazione di cio solamente come sopravvivenze o espressioni di un oscuro ed irrazionale culto della tradizione locale e da ritenersi un errore, Per cui si e concentrata l 'attenzione su come si evince il concetto di "ocru malu" dal contesto socio-culturale dei villaggi comunitari. Per illustrate l'idea di "ocru malu" l'articolo si apre chiarendo il significato del termine, che molti studiosi considerano spesso equivalente a malocchio e jettatura. Nel secondo capitolo si prende invece in considerazione l'"ocru malu" come strumento di controllo sociale ed invidia istituzionalizzata. Infine, l'ultimo capitolo e dedicate alle operazioni magiche per curare le vittime di "ocru malu" e alla funzione di tali riti.

This article reports about the presence of some of the components of minor fraction of virgin olive oils, polyphenols and tocopherols, in several of the VOO varieties from Extremadura. The relationship between both classes of compounds and the oxidative stability of the oils is also examined. The levels of total phenols, α, β, and γ tocopherols showed significant differences (p<0.05) among the different varieties. The concentration of total phenolic compounds varied from 130 to 1203 mg/kg. The α-tocopherol was the most representative in the seven varieties (95.97 %) and ranged from (288 - 170) to (485 - 244) mg/kg in the Morisca and Carrasqueña varieties respectively. On the other hand, a positive high lineal correlation was observed between oxidative stability and studied along the maturity of the fruit and the total phenolic compounds (natural antioxidants) (r2>0.90; p<0.05), α-tocopherol (r2>0.85; p<0.05), β-tocopherol (r2>0.70; p<0.05) and total-tocopherols (r2>0.87; p<0.05), in all the olive oils obtained from the seven varieties of olive from Extremadura. It is noticeable that α-tocopherol fraction contributed equally to the oxidative stability of all the VOO whereas the largest contribution was provided by the oil phenolic fraction, as it was the case of the Carrasqueña variety.

チェルノブイリ原発事故発生から30年後の被災地域において、一年間にわたってホールボディカウンタによる住民の内部被ばく調査、陰膳法による食事調査を行い、関連を分析。内部被ばく調査では、予備調査で最大23,788Bq/body, 本調査で最大7,437Bq/bodyの放射能が確認され、冬季は高く、夏季は低い傾向がみられた。食事調査では、年間合計で1,446サンプルを分析。森林由来のキノコ、ベリー類や牛乳で高い放射能が確認され、最大は乾燥キノコで24,257Bq/kgであった。30年経過時点でも食事から放射性物質を取り込んでいる実態が明らかになり、食生活の観点から被ばく予防を行う必要性が確認された。

本稿は,日本における「応用美術」概念成立の歴史的過程を明らかにしたものである。1873年に西欧から美術の概念が導入され,当初明治以前の東洋の概念との間に混乱が生じた。また,1885年頃には,純粋美術と応用美術との区別も知られるようになった。当時日本の工芸品は海外で芸術的に高い評価を受け,また重要な輸出品でもあったことから,国粋主義者たちによって工芸は純粋美術であるとする論が主張され,国際主義者との間に摩擦も生じた。1900年のパリ万国博覧会で,工芸を純粋美術とする国粋主義者の論は覆され,その後純粋美術と応用美術の区別が社会に浸透した。しかし,その区別は差別となり,また美術工芸という独自の分野を生み,影響は現在にまで尾を引いている。

牛免疫不全ウイルス(BIV)ならびに牛白血病ウイルス(BLV)血清疫学調査を行った。北海道内10地区より採取した390検体を検査したところ, BIVとBLV陽性率はそれぞれ11.0%と33%であった。和牛の調査ではBIVが16.6%の陽性率を示した。一方,BLV陽性の乳牛を調べたところ,18.7%と高率にBTV陽性を示した。これらの結果から,BIVが北海道全体に分布することが明らかとなった。

The two axis theory and the vector control based on this theory are well known. On the other hand, Yamamura proposed the phase segregation method (spiral vector method) for the analysis of induction motor, and suggested the field acceleration method (FAM). In this paper, the comparison of these analytical and control methods is investigated.At first, the equations from which the phase segregation will be derived are interpreted. In these equations, the information from 3-phase stator and rotor equations is involved. Secondly, it is clarified that the vector control system for constant rotor flux is a goal of T-I type FAM which is derived from a zero transient term condition. By using the T-I type transient equivalent circuit, the vector control system is easily obtained, because the circuit is the same as steady-state one when the amplitude of rotor flux is constant. The analytical solution of transient response for the vector control system is obtained for arbitrary initial conditions. Furthermore, the stability of T-II type FAM especially for the effect of stator resistance change is discussed by computing the torque transfer function. When the stator resistance is correctly estimated, the pole-zero cancellation occurs on the imaginary axis.

Penile self-mutilation is rare. We report our experience with 3 cases of penile self-amputation. One case was in a 48-year-old man who had no background history of mental disorders. He amputated his penis using a utility knife. He was referred to our hospital and underwent suture of the wound, but he took his own life one week after the surgery. Another case was in a 42-year-old man who had intelligence impairment. He amputated his penis using a kitchen knife. The other case was in a 41-year-old man who had schizophrenia. He amputated his penis using a piece of broken glass.

In this paper, interaction patterns in L_<18> orthogonal array are classified as the confounding patterns between interaction and main effect ,and the degree of confounding is evaluated quantitatively for each pattern. An equivalence relationship is defined among the forms of confounding patterns to classify into several confounding patterns. To evaluate the degree of confounding quantitatively, the ratio of sums of squares between interaction and main effect are used. For instance, these results suggest that when there are only factors with three levels and the number of factors is six at most, these factors should be assigned from the third column to reduce the confoundings as least as possible.
