With the diversification of culture, musical instruments have become more diversified and closer to us.Musical instruments are classified into keyboard instruments, wind instruments, stringed instruments, and percussions. Each instrument is made up of many varieties of materials.This paper takes up such major instruments as pianos, electric organs, and wind instruments and describes metallic materials used in these instruments and touches upon the role of materials in still mysterious sounds of musical instruments.
