The system of lifetime employment was a feature of Japanese management style and it was said to be one factor of economic growth. It was a stable employment system that applied only to men. However, it has been difficult to continue the system. The idea that "man works outside the house, and woman in the house" was realistic because many men were under the lifetime employment system. It is not asked here whether the idea of the role of men and women is correct or not. However, when the lifetime employment system collapses, this idea also naturally collapses. Thus, the idea of work-life balance plan has arisen. This paper is to try to consider the possibility of such a plan.
