It has been shown that light not only has visual effect, e.g., brightness, but also has an influence over circadian rhythm of a human being. A human being adjusts its circadian rhythm by receiving light during the daytime. Also it is shown that the secretion of melatonin, hormone secreted at night, is suppressed by receiving light at night, especially that of blue color component. Therefore, it is necessary to treat ourselves with cares to receive as much of light as possible during the daytime, and to avoid to be subjected to unnecessary light, and to use an illumination of low color temperature and illuminance during the night time.
