The foot-binding remains in Chinese as a time honoured manner and custom that is to bind women's feet from childhood. But Chinese women have a dislike to have one's own feet seen by other persons. For this reason, the study of foot-binding is so poor, that there is hardly any literature addicible for it. Accidentally we have had an opportunity to see many foot-bindings during the present Sino-Japanese Affairs. Summaries of our studies concerning about it are following: 1) The foot-binding in the Chinese has various forms, generally the distance from heel to back of foot is mostly long and variant. 2) The influene of foot-binding has not only local transinformation, but has bad effects upon the whole body.
