大阪で毎年開催されている市民向け科学イベント「こどものためのジオ・カーニバル」に向けて,「手作り☆★宇宙図鑑★☆」を製作し,セミナー出展して実践を行いました.宇宙図鑑は,宇宙への招待を最大の目的としていますが,カラー天体写真を台紙に貼り付けていく簡単なものなので小さな子どもたちでも作成できます.綺麗な天体の写真を身近に感じ,自分で作る図鑑ということで,当日は大人気でしたので,その詳細と活動を報告します.この報告を通してみなさまの今後の天文普及活動の一助になればと思います.We have designed and produced a hand-on "Cosmos Picture Book" as teaching materials in astronomy, and demonstrated it at a public event, The Geo-Carnival for Children, held in Osaka in 2007. The aim of this picture book is to introduce the cosmos to children. This picture book is designed for children to make very easily. At the event, this picture book was very favorite with children, because of colorful and beautiful pictures. This picture book was###also used in the university class. We hope that this material is useful in teaching and popularizing astronomy.

大阪で6年前から毎年11月に開催されている市民向け科学イベント,21世紀の地学教育を考える大阪フォーラム「こどものためのジオ・カーニバル」(以下ジオ・カーニバル)について紹介します.ジオ・カーニバルはその名前のとおり「地学の祭典」で,"こどもたちに地学の楽しさを伝える"ことに重点を置いて開催されています.したがって活動の対象は主に小学生のこどもたちで,方法としては実際に地学に関することを"楽しく"体験してもらうことを重要視しています.大阪教育大学天文学研究室・宇宙科学研究室はジオ・カーニバルに初回から参加していますが,「重力レンズで見たあなた」「作ろう!立体正座」「手作りの太陽アニメーション-動いている太陽-」という3つの天文教育に関する企画を行った第6回を中心に,内容の紹介をします.ジオ・カーニバルでの活動へのご理解と同時に,天文教育の普及方法の一助および天文教材の開発の手助けになれば幸いです.Since 2000, a public event, "The Geo-Carnival for Children," has been held in Osaka. The purpose of the Geo-Carnival is to show children pleasures of natural science such as earth science, astronomy, eteorology, environmental studies, and disaster prevention research. Members in the institute, that the authors belong to, have participated in the carnival from the beginning of the event every year. In this article, activities of the events for six years are summarized, especially for the 6th carnival in 2005.
