Sr_<0.2>Ba_<0.8>Nb_2O_6 ceramics with 1 mol% V_2O_5 addition were fabricated by liquid phase sintering. A com-pact sintered at 1300℃ for 100h had the spontaneous polarization of 6.1×10^<-2>C/m^2 at 50℃ The sharp permittivity peak was observed at 293℃ corresponding to the Curie temperature. The crystal structure had the orthorhombic symmetry with a_0= 1.7654, b_0= 1.7662 and c_0=0.7961 nm at room temperature. The orthorhombic-tetragonal phase transition was found at about 120℃.
