In this paper, some practical methods concerned with elementary numerical computing will be introduced by EXCEL VBA. These methods including solution of non-linear equations, numerical solution of integration and numerical solution of ordinary differential will be shown by very simple manipulations of a mouse on EXCEL.

In this paper, we will introduce a method for solving some problems in PERT/CPM (Program Evaluation and Review Technique/Critical Path Method) with EXCEL. PERT/CPM are famous methods for project management which reflects a commitment of resources and people to a typically important activity for a relatively short time frame. Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations from a project. Management is generally perceived to be concerned with planning, organization, and control of an ongoing process or activity, which will be obtained by very simple manipulation of a mouse on EXCEL.
