As the digital technology has developed, life, which is involved with communication, business, shopping, education, etc. became possible in cyberspace. Life can be divided into two spaces, which are real and virtual spaces. This virtual space, which did not exist in the past, changed the life style of the people. In the study, human activities are understood as "real life" and "cyber life." Inside of the cyber life, there is a need of a person in control over the life. It is one's other self, which is called "Avatar." When we consider activities by Avatar as an active life in the cyberspace, this thesis made an issue out of limiting the present Avatar's function and reality simply to a character as a visual symbol.
