At the end of World War II, Sato Haruo moved to Hirane-mura in Kitasaku-gun (now Saku-city) for safety. After a year of village life he edited a book of poems titled Saku no Kusabue with 60 numbers. About one-third of the poems were written using words from the local Saku dialect. This article shows which words were from the local dialect and how they were used.

This paper presents a proposal of resurrecting "Shinshu Junior College of Information Technology", by tracing the history of computerization in our college and referring to the effects of the policy of e-Japan concept for our college's survival and prosperity through preempting the ubiquitous information society coming before long.
