The Purpose of this study is to explain what help and cooperation Walter Citrine gave to the British Workers' Sport Association (BWSA) which tried to prepare for the Antwerp Workers' Olympiad in 1937, and send the British team to Antwerp. This thesis devides on four chapters : first introduction ; second, trading views on holding of the Antwerp Workers' Olympiad between the International Federation of Trades Unions (IFTU) and Walter Citrine ; third, negotiation between the Amateur Athletic Association and him about participation of the British team in the Antwerp Workers' Olympiad ; forth, conclusion. The Antwerp Workers' Olympiad was organized and conducted by the Socialist Workers' Sport International (SWSI) which was led and supported by IFTU and the Labour Socialist International (LSI). Then BWSA, which prepared for the Antwerp Workers' Olympiad and sent the British team to Antwerp, was patronaged by the Trades Union Congress (TUC).
