This report is about a relatively unknown wood carver "Hyusuke KATAGIRI", Recentoly some of KATAGIRIi's high grade works were found in the Tohkai district. The contents of this paper aims to discuss the carvings of Hyousuke KATAGIRI as well as to provide an insight to his life.
