日本語の授与動詞の語彙体系を〔遠心性授与動詞/求心性授与動詞〕のように表すとすると,近畿地方を中心とした「中央部」の方言では〔ヤル/クレル〕の語彙体系を発達させてきているのに対し,中部地方以東や九州地方以南の「周辺部」の方言では〔クレル/クレル〕を維持するものがある。この〔ヤル/クレル〕と〔クレル/クレル〕が接触する地域では,本動詞用法においては〔クレル/クレル〕が維持されるのに対して,補助動詞用法では〔ヤル/クレル〕の対立を生じている場合がある。この授与動詞体系の方言接触による変容の諸現象と地理的分布を,FPJD調査の結果により検証する。When expressing the lexical system of Japanese verbs of giving as the giving verb of centrifugal direction from a speaker or the giving verb of centripetal direction to a speaker, [kureru/kureru] are maintained in the peripheral dialects used in the east of the Chubu region or in the south of the Kyushu region; however, the lexical system of [yaru/kureru] has been maintained in the central dialects used in the Kinki region. In regions where this [yaru/kureru] makes contact with [kureru/kureru], there are cases where an opposition of [yaru/kureru] occurs in the usage of the auxiliary verb; however, [kureru/kureru] is maintained in the usage of the main verb. Various phenomena of metamorphosis through dialect contact in the system of verbs of giving and their geographical distribution have been investigated through the results of the Field Research Project to Analyze the Formation Process of Japanese Dialects (the FPJD survey).
