On March 11th 2011 a huge earthquake hit the Tohoku district of Japan resulting in brought serious damage. The earthquake has been shown to have destroyed the Fukushima nuclear power plant. As a result The high-level radioactive material was, and continues to be emitted into the air, the groundwater and the Pacific Ocean. The nuclear accident power plant is still unfortunately in progress.This earthquake-caused tragedy has presented us with philosophical and ethical problems to consider. In this paper, the pettiness, weakness, and helplessness of human being is treated first, and, oddly enough, human arrogance backed by progress in technology is then discussed.
