The latest digital ink-jet prints have achieved excellent image quality, not only of color photographs, but also monochrome images, of which many photographers still think as important media for fine art and creative photography. In this presentation, discussed is the image stability of those digital ink-jet B & W prints. To evaluate the stabilities, used for accelerated aging are xenon and fluorescent light test, thermal chamber test and ozone exposure test. Through those aging test, the latest ink-jet prints are evaluated as having exceedingly improved image stability.
