Drawings and documents were found mainly on Kishida’s prewar works through the sorting out and analyzing of related documents stored at Kanazawa Institute of Technology and Tokyo Metropolitan Archives. In total, 119 drawings on 34 works were found, and of them, 24 works are not listed in the chronology of “Kishida Hideto”. The completion date of the auditorium and library in Kure City tells us that the buildings can be categorized as a work from Kishida’s earliest days as a designer, when he worked as an official of the repairs department of the Tokyo Imperial University. It has also been revealed that he designed buildings other than campus when he worked for the university’s department. Kishida worked on a wide range of buildings after he become a professor in the prewar era. It is shown that his designing of mountain huts ranged widely across the country through the national park association.
