The purpose of this paper is to indicate that the progress of population aging in developing countries does not accelerate uniformly on some occasions. Particularly this paper shows that countries becoming“ aged society” after the middle of this century have tendency to make their long-term aging phenomenon slow down.

The purpose of this research is to examine how Japan could sustain the social sustainability under the pressure of aging. In recent years how Japan is possibly affected by the social aging phenomenon has been discussed. In general the perspective of the future aged Japanese society is hopeless. Therefore especially in this paper we study on the possibility, that the good practice for employment of senior citizen would support the social burden of aging society in the future. In this meaning, private sectors would be required to hire the senior citizen, even after they formally retire.
