The TV production industry has been preparing various mediue toward the highly advanced information era. which satisfied needs of the viewing audience. Development of TV reciever apparatus requests the high quality of video and audio signal to be broadcasted. We (JSB : JAPAN SATELLITE BROADCASTING, INC.) started to distribute program for customer s needs by the Broadcastig Satellite (BS-Sa) from Nov, 30th 1990. Major equipments between video and audio system have been digitmlized. Therefore we realized first digitalization of total broadcast studio-system in the world. This paper describes the digital master control system of JSB.
