I compiled this report to observe the difference between the ideal and the reality, and to propose the methods to bring the reality as close to the ideal as possible about what "a representative of the nation means" in Constitution of Japan Article 43. Therefore I point out the importance to continue to make an effort to reduce the gap between the reality and the ideal "a representative of the nation" means in the context of the election system.
