This paper presents a visualization and interactive manipulation system of 3D digital map, formally provided for 2D display systems, on immersive display such as CAVE. There have been many 3D digital maps, which contain information on elevation of ground, shape of roads and buildings, etc. Visualizing such information clearly helps us understand the whole information in the maps. However, 3D representation has been displayed on 2D display. Although the representation may impress us photo-realistically at most, it can not immerse us in the CG-generated world. Therefore in this paper, extending features of 3D digital map, a visualization system of such maps on immersive display is presented. Calculating and displaying binocular vision for the maps in real-time, the system can give us stereoscopic sense from any viewpoint. Furthermore, the proposed system equips a pointing interface, which can grab, move, delete and add obj ects (buildings) in a virtual scene in consideration of "Level of Detail".
