The Japanese species of the genus Micropeplus are revised. All the known forms, including three new species, are either described or redescribed, and a key to them is given. The new species are : M. yasutoshii from Mt. Mitake near Tokyo, M. satoi from Ikushunbetsu in central Hokkaido, and M. kikuchii from Oku-Nikko in central Honshu. The last-named was formerly misidentified with M. longipennis KRAATZ by WATANABE and SHIBATA (1964).
