In cities, towns and villages the movement to set up lifelong learning leader bank has grown, in order to promote lifelong learning. However, they are not fully functioning in many cases, and it has been a subject to attain activation. Then, we ###developed "Lifelong Learning Leader Bank Self-diagnostic Table", and we requested ###to entry the Table to cities, towns and villages of Fukuoka Prefecture and Miyazaki ###Prefecture. ###As a result of analyzing the contents, there are many cases as follows. It has been a subject to arrange the full-time personnel who take charge of a consultation function or a coordination function, and to improve assessment system, and related system.市町村において、生涯学習を推進するために、生涯学習人材バンクを設置する動きが広がっている。しかし、それらが十分に機能していないという実状が広く見られ、活性化を図ることが課題となっている。そのためには、それぞれの人材バンクの実状に即して、どこに問題があり、どのような方策が求められているかを的確に診断することが求められている。そこで、新たに「生涯学習人材バンク自己診断表」を開発し、福岡県と宮崎県の市町村に対して記載を依頼した。その内容を分析した結果、推進体制の面では、「複数の職員が仕事の片手間に行っている」などの問題を解決するために、今後は相談機能やコーディネート機能を担当する専任職員の配置を課題とするところが多いこと、評価システムおよび関連システムとの連携については、取り組みがあまりなされておらず、今後の課題とするところが多いことなどが明確になった。
