When short circuit occurs at some point (for ex., the receiving end) of ove-head transmission line, a heavy current flows along its conductors. Due to electromagnetic (attractive or repulsive) forces set up between conductors, they make swinging motions. In this paper an approximate treatment of this swinging motion has been made.
