In this paper, we describe about a study of dead-reckoning algorithm for mecanum wheel based mobile robot under various types of road surface. Because of mecanum wheel based mobile robot can move omni-direction by utilizing tire-road surface friction. Therefore depending on road surface condition, it is difficult to estimate accurate self-position by applying conventional dead-reckoning method. In order to overcome inaccuracy of conventional dead-reckoning method for mecanum wheel based mobile robot, we propose new dead-reckoning algorithm. Validity of proposed algorithm is confirmed by extensive actual experiment under various types of road surface.

Recently, many Japanese play games on their smartphones. They can play these games for free, but they can also pay money for these games in order to gain an advantage. Due to this system, some players pay too much money and they become unable to make a living. These people develop severe social problems. In this study, I surveyed the reasons that respondents pay money for these games despite the fact that they can play for free. Questions included whether they have or haven't paid for games, the reasons for pay to play, the amount of money they spent on these games and so on. The results showed that the behavioral aspects (ex. the amount of money) influenced more than the psychological aspect (ex. the feel of troubles).Key Words: social psychology, game, addiction

General levels of players hitting the "glide slice" is now not many. This study that measured using a high speed movement of the camera when the backspin tennis ball bounce, to analyze the "glide slice", to the improvement of technology by showing clearly to those who play tennis as a hobby aims to help.Going to clarify important points to beat by analyzing the speed and angle, the spin a "glide slice".

We examined the properties of 45 variable stars in the Trapezium cluster, which we identified from J, H and Ks band near-infrared imaging with the 1.4 m IRSF telescope carried out at three epochs, 2000, 2005, and 2014.Their positions in the color-magnitude diagram and the two-color diagram show that they are young stellar objects. The variability over 2000 to 2014 of the majority of them (36/45) are found to be classified into two patterns. One group became brighter and bluer while the other became fainter and redder. Stars with largerbrightness change showed larger color change with the time scale of 〜10 years. The distribution of slope angles in the J vs J-H diagrams of 2014 is similar to that of 2005 showing the bimodal feature consistent with previous work. Comparison of the slope angles with that of interstellar extinction suggests that the origin of variation ofabout two-thirds of the 45 variables is the change in the column density of material similar to that responsible for the interstellar extinction. The light variation of the remaining variables may be due to the change in accretion and circumstellar disk activity.Key Words : young stars, variable stars, infrared, open clusters, Orion, Trapezium cluster
