"Spiritually transformative experience" involves various phenomena such as near-death experiences, death-bed vision experiences, shared near-death experiences, enlightening, mystical experiences, the recall of past lives, and meeting with deceased people, the so-called after-death communication, ADC. One of the notable common characteristics of these experiences is that they often have profound and long-lasting effects on experiencers which can be called life-changing. In this article I will report a case of after-death communication with such effects on the experiencer. In the spirit of Ohkado (2018) and Ohkado and Greyson (2018), I will also show that the Life Changes Inventory-Revised (Greyson and Ring, 2004) can be a potentially promising tool for measuring the effect of after-death communication as an example of spiritually transformative experiences.
