ある殺人未遂事件の被疑者として簡易精神鑑定に付され, 鑑定医より「多重人格障害」と診断された24歳の女子患者が, 本研究の対象である。当該症例について, 生活歴及び措置入院前後の経過等を摘記した後, 入院期間中, その初期と後期の2度にわたり実施する機会のあった「へび象徴技法」の所見を取り上げ, その治療的効果を, 描画後のフィードバック面接における検査者(筆者)とのやりとりに即して詳しく検討した。This article treated of the Snake Symbol Technique (SST) applied to a twenty-four-year-old woman. She was an attempted murder suspect subjected to the psychiatric test. Her case being diagnosed as MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder), she was sent to a mental hospital without being indicted. The SST was administered to her twice, early and late in six months' hospitalization. Her experiences of drawing the pictures and taking of them with the tester after the second drawing seemed to be very significant and therapeutic. They encouraged her to face the pathological aspect of her inner world and induced relevant expression filled with her insight into it.
