This paper follows the transitions of an outlook on the other world of Christianity in Japan from the introduction of Kirisitan, by examing the underground era of two and half centuries to modern Kakure-Kirishitan era, and tries to find out how the outlook on the other world of Christianity was accepted in Japan and has been transformed under the complicated Japanese religious soil. This will give one of the clues to clarify the figure of indigenization of Christianity in Japan and will serve to aid in better understanding the present situations in the other world of these people in Japan.
