遠隔コミュニケーションにおいて、参加者に対して距離感を表現することを可能とするデバイスである、重層化ディスプレイを構築する。重層化ディスプレイは透過型ディスプレイを重ねて配置することにより表現し、「面」ではなく「空間」を通じた表示が可能となる。これにより、遠隔コミュニケーションでの表示画面において、奥行きを表現し、会話を行う上で重要なノンバーバル情報である「距離」を遠隔地間での対話で利用することができる。本研究では、距離感を表現するディスプレイの試作と表現手法の評価を行った。In order to express distance in remote communication, we have built "stratification display". Stratification display is composed of special transmitted display. To build the stratification display, we have placed a transmitted display in front of a large display. Stratification display is able to express sense of distance by using the depth of screens. We have built a prototype of the remote communication system using the stratification display.
