現在、携帯電話やPDA、電子書籍端末など、小型ディスプレイに文書コンテンツを表示して読む機会が増えてきた。しかし、小型ディスプレイ上での組版ルールが存在しないため、各文書コンテンツの表現に際しては、それぞれ独自仕様の組版が行われている。今回、紙への印刷に適用する組版エンジンを使用して組版した文字コンテンツを小型ディスプレイに表示させ、小型ディスプレイへの文字組版の有用性を検討する。Recently, the opportunity to display and read document contents on small displays, such as a cellular phone, PDA, and e-book reader, has increased. However, since the typesetting rule applicable to a small monitor does not exist, on the occasion of expression of each document contents, the typesetting of original specification is performed, respectively. This time, the character contents which carried out the typesetting using the typesetting engine applied to paper printing are displayed on a small monitor, and the usefulness of the character typesetting to a small monitor is examined.
