When we see the follwing stripe, we can recognize the Border Contrast (BC) vividly. It is already known that the value difference is most influential for the cognition of BC. In this paper, we present the result of the experiment characterising BC, based on hue or chroma difference, and conclude the following. 1) BC can be seen in this stripe composed by hue or chroma difference. 2) Chroma BC tends to be visible in the stripe with red, but hard to be visible in the stripe with green. 3) The strength of chroma BC is influenced by stripe width. In case of yellow or blue, the larger stripe width is more effective for the cognition of BC, comparing with the stripe with red or green.
