Beam spectroscopy using a DigDagCCD (Charge Coupled Device) detector as a plasma diagnostic is described. Although the frame rate of the CCD is much lower than the modulation frequency, modulated light with a frequency of a few hundred Hz can be detected by the DigDag CCD by shifting the charge in the normal direction and in the reverse direction associated with the moduration. The application of the DigDag CCD detector to plasma diagnostics including charge exchange spectroscopy and motional Stark effect spectroscopy is described.
