The purpose of this research is to apply Marching Cube method to the Boundary-Map geometric model which is one of decomposition model, and to visualize it at high speed. The Boundary-Map geometric model is a geometric model based on decomposition data developed as a geometric model suitable for computer aided manufacturing system. This model has been applied to tool path generation, NC machining simulation and so on. It is confirmed that the Boundary-Map model is able to use as a geometric model for CAM. However, this model is difficult to create polygons for visualization because it is a decomposition model. On the other hand, Marching Cube method is the most general technique that visualizes medical images like as MRI and CT data. In this report, the algorithm which is to visualize the Boundary-Map geometric model by using Marching Cube method is developed, and it is recognized that this method is able to realize visualization at high speed.
