The purpose of this paper is to consider the vocational ethics in Suzuki Shosan. He explained the ocational ethics in his main published work Banmin Tokuyou. His vocational ethics wa based on the principle, namely, the worldly things are Buddhism. He looked on the vocation as the other self of the Buddha. Every vocation as the training improved him and relieved his mind. There was the Japanese vocational ethics. It continues living in the Japanese mind.
