The purpose of this study was to investigate about the film technique when using home video cameras. For this study, 20 samples of video tape were offered from homes. In this study, detailed contents of film techniques were as follows; (a) zoomnig technique, (b) panning technique, (c) tilting technique, (d) cutting technique, (e) others. The main results were as follows, (I) zooming technique was the most frequently used in home video cameras. However zooming function operated more quickly than they thought. Viewers would get confused in many times if we look at the film. (II) panning technique was used so many times too. But since the way they use this technique did not suit the rule, they made the film unclear.
