Professor Oka published a textbook on environmental economics in 2006, which criticized the energy analysis by Georgescu-Roegen based on the entropy law. However, Oka approves the significance of the entropy law and attempts to construct environmental macroeconomics. This paper will prove that Oka misinterpreted Georgescu-Roegen's analysis and will suggest a direction for constructing environmental macroeconomics based on the entropy law.
