A game described with a directed rooted tree diagram, what is called a game tree, is referred to as an extensive-form game. The purpose of this paper is to reconsider or seek the structures of finite extensive-form games. Since Kuhn[8], there has been a large literature on extensive-form games, and huge particular models of them have been proposed. Accordingly, the efforts to seek the structure of extensive-form games may be too belated. However, apart from particular models as examples of extensive-form games, we think it may be difficult to describe the general structure of extensive-form games perfectly. The efforts of this paper may also result in incomplete definitions about extensive-form games. However, we somewhat aim for the general description of the structure of finite extensive-form games.
