The French mathematician Pierre de Fermat is famous primarily because of his extensive work in number theory. We describe several conjectures concerning exponential Diophantine equations related to Fermat's equation. By means of elementary methods and Baker theory, we show that the exponential Diophantine equation a^x + db^y = c^z has only one solution in positive integers x, y, z under some conditions.
