In this paper, the necessity and importance to have a series of scientific descriptions of the experiences by those who went through disasters as victims and/or disaster workers to find out the basic facts for the future disaster management. We names such scientific descriptions as "Disaster Ethnography" which has been one of the basic research methods used in the filed of cultural anthropology for the study of various subculture. We briefly described disaster ethnography in terms of the goals to be achieved, the method used for the understanding of different cultures, the evaluation as a scientific method, and the audience who may use this information. The idea of disaster ethnography was expanded for the multi-disciplinary collaboration for the development of an integrated disaster science.
