This study focuses on the Shared Housings that have relationship with the neighborhoods, and aims to clarify the characteristics of these shared housing. In addition, this study examines the influence that the shared housing of this type over neighborhood. The main result is as follows. That is, the shared housing of this type leads not only to satisfy the tourists but also to awake the neighbor's concern for local character. The sheared housing of this type is thought as an effective device to promote the exchange of the neighbors and the outsiders.
