本研究の目的は、大阪大学人間科学研究科・教育人間学研究分野を中心に教育と福祉の理論家と実践家によって行ってきた共同研究、「教育と福祉のドラマトゥルギー」のこれまでの研究成果と課題を考察することによって、今後の共同研究のあり方を展望することにある。その際、本共同研究の共通の観点として用いた「舞台」概念に着目し、その概念が持つ意味の射程を明らかにすることを目指した。そのためにまず、本共同研究の理論的基盤であるゴッフマン理論から見た「集まり」の輪郭を明らかにする。次いで、本共同研究の成果の一つを事例として、これまでの共同研究において曖昧なままであった「舞台」概念を四つの層に分類・整理し、「舞台」概念の再定義を行う。そこから、ゴッフマンが「集まり」とその外部の関係を考察の対象とはしていなかったのに対し、本共同研究では「舞台」間の関係を動的に捉えるとともに、物理的・可視的空間だけでなく、仮想的空間をも射程に収めるという点に特質があることを明らかにする。以上の考察から、今後の我々の共同研究の中で、様々な位相に属する「舞台」同士がどのように影響を与え合い、それらがどのように変容していくのかを具体的な事例の中から明らかにしていく必要があることを示す。This article discusses the objectives and results of our joint research, entitled "The Dramaturgy of Education and Welfare" focusing on "the stage." This constitutes a key concept of this study because of its originality and employability as an analytical concept. However, because the stage has not been fully considered in our studies, its use remains ambiguous. Therefore, we fi rst clarify the implications of "gathering" in Erving Goff man's "Dramaturgy", which forms our theoretical base. Originally, Goff man's primary concern was to reveal orders of gathering, so his "Dramaturgy" did not consider the relational aspect of gathering that is the relationship between a stage and the outside world. However, our study regards the gathering concept as possessing a dynamic relation with the outside world. Second, we extend and classify the stage concept into four categories ranging in density, from abstract to concrete, by using one case study. This categorization is termed "Multilayered Structure of Stage", a concept that spans not only the physical and visible spaces but also the virtual and imaginary. Finally, we indicate that the problem of this joint research is to clarify on the basis of particular cases how stages in their diff erent phases interact and transform.
