[要約] スマートフォンとクラウドコンピューティングサービスの登場はICT業界が25年かかって到達した新しいパラダイムの始まりを示唆している。パーソナルクラウドサービスおよびiPhoneアプリ市場の拡充と共に, iPhoneアプリを開発できる人材の育成が急務となっている。本稿では2年間にわたる少人数教育で改善を続けてきたiPhoneアプリ開発教育方法の研究について述べたい。iPhoneアプリ開発環境はMVCモデルとしてとらえるとXcodeのフレームワークを理解するのに役立つ。また, iPhoneアプリ開発には3つのハードルがあるが, これらを修得すると飛躍的にスキルが向上する。一方, 開発プロセスを理解し, 実機テストを通じてアプリケーションプログラムが改善されていく過程も理解しておく必要がある。 [Abstract] The advent of smart phone and cloud computing implies the beginning of a new paradigm shift after 25 years of technological advancement in the ICT industry. With the increase of personal cloud services and the number of iPhone applications, it is expected to increase the number of personnel who can develop iPhone applications. In this paper I would like to describe the result of iPhone application development education methodology which was revised through educating several students for 2 years. Conceptual understanding of iPhone development environment as MVC model will help us grasp the Xcode frameworks. There exist three hurdles to get over before we acquire the skills of iPhone development. In addition, it is necessary to grasp practical development skills. This is because an application has to be continually revised through trial usage on real iPhones.
