一般論文本論文は、すでに発表した拙稿「アクションリサーチの〈時間〉」(矢守, 2018)の補論となる論考である。具体的には、鷲田(2006)による〈待つ〉ことに関する示唆的な著作を手がかりに、時間、特に、〈インストゥルメンタル〉な時間と〈コンサマトリー〉な時間の関係性に関して、矢守(2018)で十分論じきれなかった側面について考察したものである。〈待つ〉の根底には、〈インストゥルメンタル〉と〈コンサマトリー〉との間の逆説的な機能連関がある。しかも、その連関は、矢守(2018)が注目した〈インストゥルメンタル〉の拡大・膨張の徹底によって、現在を高揚化・絶対化させることで〈コンサマトリー〉へと転回させる機能連関ではない。それとは正反対に、〈インストゥルメンタル〉の縮小・退縮の徹底によって、現在を冷却化・静謐化させることで〈コンサマトリー〉へと転回させる機能連関である。〈待つ〉は、何らかの目標状態の「徴候」に過敏に反応する態度(アンテ・フェストゥム)のもと、〈インストゥルメンタル〉な意味で待つことではない。また、その目標状態を計画として予め現在の中に取り込もうとする態度(ポスト・フェストゥム)のもと、〈インストゥルメンタル〉な意味で待つことでもない。〈待つ〉は、〈コンサマトリー〉な時間のなかで現在を「時を細かく刻んで」静かに生きながら何かを待つことである。This paper is a supplemental argument for the article, "Theoretical analysis of 'time' in action research" (Yamori, 2018). I discussed, in this paper, the relationship between two totally contradictory dimensions of time, "instrumental" and "consummatory," based on a philosophical work about "pure and perfect waiting" by Washida (2006). "Pure and perfect waiting" is characterized by a paradoxical interdependence between the two different dimensions of time. This paradoxical interdependence is not caused by both "instrumental" and "consummatory" dimensions magnifying or reinforcing each other, highlighted in Yamori (2018), but, on the contrary, by both dimensions negating or reducing each other. "Pure and perfect waiting" is neither "waiting" for a specific target with over-sensitive attitudes under temporal mode of "uncertainty" or "ante-festum" within an "instrumental" dimension, nor "waiting" for a specific target with over-prepared attitudes to predict and prepare for all under temporal mode of "completeness" or "post-festum" within an "instrumental" dimension. It is "waiting" for something undefined, without the feeling of waiting, in a steady and calm everyday lives within a "consummatory" dimension of time.
