本稿の目的は、シャカイフクシの人間観を仏教の人間観・世界観を援用しての批判的考察である。本稿は、仏教社会福祉学の立場ではないが、社会福祉原理論研究から、社会福祉の人間観の再考には、仏教の人間観から学ぶべき重要な観点が示唆されているとの仮説に立つ。検討結果は、次の通り。①仏教の慈悲、キリスト教の隣人愛の具現化、信仰の発露として、日本における救済形態の中心、また底流となり、現在の社会福祉に至っている。②社会福祉の特性は、個別的な方法で特殊的なリスクに対応する対人サービス及び施策にある。③仏教の人間観等からすれば、社会福祉の人間観は皮相であり、その人間観は浅薄である。④人間の根源的な課題である人の生きる意味を問うには、現状の社会福祉では難しく、仏教の人間観等に基づく回答が望まれる。 The purpose of this study is to criticize the understanding of human in social welfare by referring to the understanding of human in Buddhism. But the aim of this study is not to support Buddhism totally. So we concentrate only on the understanding of human in Buddhism. The following points have been cleared. Ⅰ. There is a similarity between the charity of Buddhism and that of Christianity. In Japan, this shapes today's social welfare. Ⅱ. The character of social welfare is services and policies which treat each cases individually. Ⅲ. Comparing Buddhism with social welfare, social welfare doesn't enough philosophy about human and life. Ⅳ. Social welfare should learn from Buddhism to clear the meaning of life.
