様々な入出力機器をWebと透過的に連携させるためのフレームワークであるMultimodal Interaction (MMI) 技術の国際標準化, 特にWorld Wide Web Concorcium(W3C) のにおける取り組みについて概説するとともに, 各種機器等から, より簡単にMMI技術を利用するために必要となるオープンソフト. ワークベンチの構築について議論する.This paper summarizes global standardization activity within theWorld Wide Web Consortium (W3C) on Multimodal Integration (MMI) technology as a framework for transparent and smarter integration of the Web and various Consumer Electronics devices, and then proposes a universal opensource work-bench for MMI-ready systems so that people can use those systems more easily and interaoperably.
