世界遺産にも登録されている龍安寺の石庭は枯山水庭園の代表的庭園として良く知られている.この石庭に配置された 15 個の石は,一見ランダムに配置されているように見えるが,平安時代に書かれた,作庭記のような作庭指南書に基本的に従っていると言える.しかしながら,作者は不詳であり,その配置デザイン上の目的はよくわかっていない.本論文では龍安寺においてアイ・トラッキング実験を行い,石 (もしくは石群) から石 (もしくは石群) への視線の遷移をリンクとして計測することにより,視線の PageRank を求め, 石庭の配置デザイン構造を明らかにする.The Rock garden in Ryoanji declared a World Heritage is known as the representative Karesansui garden. The fifteen rocks are distributed according to the traditional garden design text book such as Sakuteiki on the other, it seems to have random distribution. However it is unknown who design and what purpose is design for. In this paper, we perform the eye tracking experiments and measure "PageRank" fo eye movement assuming the eye movement from one rock (or rocks group) to another as a forward link among 15 rocks in the garden. Finally we discuss about the design structure of rocks distribution of the garden.
