Masao Maruyama (1914-1996), who has atternpted to describe a "prototype" of a Japanese thought through an ancient history and literature with figuring music. "The language paradigm" made for the basic understanding of his idea by him is unique. These words, for instance, "dedicate" and "offer" has nothing to do with religion but indicate the origin of politics as an act of service. And this is how (by piling these services up) an ancient Japanese politics is fomed which we don't see in Western countries and in China. There was, however, limit of Maruyama's understanding of the ancient literature. In order to rectify his, Nobuo Origuchi's view of the ancient language is effective.
