In this paper, we describe about a simple experimental system to analyze and mix smells aiming at remote transmission of the smell. In this system we used four quartz resonators for sensing smell. A smell recipe that is nearest the target smell is made by a combination of some smell elements by using a discrete approximation algorithm. First, we do experiments under assumption that the target smell is an arbitrary combination of smell elements. As a result, the effectiveness of this system is confirmed. Some stimulation systems that combined the sight, the sense of touch, and sense of smell are made for trial purposes to construct VR systems with high presence, and the evaluation experiment is done. The result of this research shows a basic finding to achieve the sense of smell stimulation system in the future, and shows feasibility of this kind of systems.

In this paper, it aims to construct a tele-baptic VR system that does not cause sense of incompatibility between users who share sense of touch. First, we constructed the system that caused the network delay and packet shortage. In this system, we changed a variety of set numerical values and experimented. In the experiment, we confirmed that the network congestion problem had been solved by a data compensation method. Next, we constructed the system using a haptic device PHANToM for the VR system. We constructed the system that can do tele-hatics sharing haptic by way of the Internet. Finally, we conducted a preliminary experiment concerning the cooperation working and remote teaching on this system. In the experiment, we confirmed the effectiveness of the tele-haptic system.
